2 lbs red or yellow beets
A Robust Southern Olive Ultra-Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil to coat the pan (Our Robust EVOO have a high smoke point up to 410 Degrees unlike refined oil that should NEVER be heated.)
½ cup Tangerine Dark Balsamic
Salt and Pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400° Line a roasting pan with aluminum foil. Clean, Peel, and Cut beets into cubes. (Tip: the smaller the faster they cook) Place the beets in the pan. Rub olive oil over the beets and sprinkle with salt. Cover the beets with another sheet of aluminum foil. Roast for 25-30 min or so, depending on the size of the beets. After 30 min, test doneness by poking with a fork. Drizzle immediately with Tangerine Dark Balsamic, add salt and pepper to taste, then serve. (Tip: If you are not a citrus fan, try this with our Maple Dark Balsamic or Traditional Dark Balsamic (aged up to 18 years) or our Limited Reserve Denissimo Dark Balsamic (aged up to 25 years).
