About Our Bakery

We strive to use Non-GMO flours and no refined sugars. Majority of ingredients will be organic, all-natural & the freshest of ingredients. We will NEVER use hydrogenated or partially-hydrogenated oils. We will NEVER use artificial dyes or unhealthy preservatives like caramel additive which is a carcinogen. 100% Gluten Free Dedicated Kitchen.  We can offer vegan/nut free / GF fondant on cakes for those needing bright colors so you can peel it off and enjoy your cake without all the artificial junk in fondant.

We believe that eating healthy ingredients on a daily basis will promote a better quality of life. Many of our products will be baked with our Ultra-Premium EVOO, Balsamic Vinegars, Crio Bru, and Chai Tea. We also use cold-pressed unrefined organic coconut oil in some of our baked goods.   We are a 100% GLUTEN FREE BAKERY. We will have daily variety of vegan, dairy-free, and paleo / keto options! Each day we will have a variety of different Cheesecake flavors, a variety of specialty cakes, pies, cookies, muffins, and cupcakes for you to enjoy. We offer low-glycemic/Paleo/Keto options for those people with diabetes or those carb-conscious individuals that want to enjoy a delicious treat without spiking blood glucose levels!

We strongly believe in providing top quality desserts that use healthy ingredients.
Too many bakeries use artificial flavorings and colorings, refined GMO vegetable oils, hydrogenated oils their icings and cakes, chemicals/preservatives in their mixes, poor quality bleached and bromated flour all of which can be toxic and cancer-causing carcinogens to humans.

Why is artificial coloring bad for me to eat?

A study by the United Kingdom’s Food Standards Agency in 2007 showed that the consumption of foods containing dyes could increase hyperactive behavior in children. According to Food Matters research, yellow 5 or tartrazine, derived from coal tar, and blue 2 or indigotin, are toxic and commonly found in low-nutrient foods, such as concentrated fruit juices, condiments, candy, and some cheeses, to name a few. An article in the Globe and Mail reported that many popular snacks such as Smarties, Froot Loops, Cheetos, Doritos, and Reeses’ Pieces simply list colors without defining whether they are from a natural or artificial source. Be sure and look at your labels next time before you buy anything from the store.

Blue dye number 1 and 2 are linked with cancer in animal tests while red dye number 3 causes thyroid tumors in rats. Green dye number 3 is linked to bladder cancer, and yellow dye number 6 is linked to tumors of the kidneys and adrenal glands.

Many pre-packaged foods especially geared towards children like candy, cakes, cupcakes, baked goods, artificial maraschino cherries, fruit cocktail, gelatin desserts, and soft drinks contain these harmful substances.

What is bromated flour?

Potassium bromate (KBrO3), is a flour “improver” that strengthens dough and allows for greater oven spring and higher rising in the oven. The primary concern regarding the use of bromates in baking is its demonstrated link to cancer in laboratory animals. It was first found to induce tumors in rats in 1982. However, since 1991, instead of banning bromate outright the FDA, with somewhat limited success, has merely encouraged bakers to voluntarily stop using it. Bromates have been banned in numerous countries, including the United Kingdom in 1990 and Canada in 1994. In addition, in 1991, California declared bromate a carcinogen under the state’s Proposition 65. As such, baked goods sold in California would have to bear a store level cancer warning if they contained more than a certain level of bromate. As a result, most California bakers have switched to bromate-free processes. For this reason, we will only use King Arthur Flour, Pamelas, and Bobs Red Mill for all of our baked goods.

What are GMOs?

Genetically modified organisms, or GMOs, are organisms whose genetic makeup was not created through traditional cross-breeding methods (hybridization) or naturally in the wild. This manipulation of DNA is known as genetic engineering, so GMO foods are often called “genetically engineered.” Made by splicing genes from one species into the DNA of another species in a laboratory, these combinations of animal, plant, bacterial and viral genes create new organisms with desired traits, such as resistance to certain herbicides, insect pests, or disease. Genetically modified plants are often engineered to improve crop yield or add nutritional benefits like increased vitamin content. GMO pose many dangers to the environment ranging from negative impact on crops; animal sickness; poor animal performance; toxicity to plants, aquatic life, environment, insects, and animals.

GMOs are found extensively in major crops grown in the United States, like corn, soy, tomatoes, rice, and sugar beets. GMOs have also been introduced in canola, alfalfa, cotton, papaya, potatoes, zucchini, summer squash, sugar cane, honey, flax, dairy and many more foods not listed here.

Are GMO foods dangerous to eat?

Yes!!! GMO foods have been proven to gastrointestinal problems, food allergies (such as soy, gluten, corn, dairy, et. Al.), birth defects, sterility, nutritional deficiencies, liver and kidneys diseases. Additional studies show consuming GMO products over a period of time are related different types of cancer, possibly Autism Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s.
